PERI and Environment

At first glance, the operation of a modern industrial company seems to be at odds with the ecological demands of nature and the environment. This is not the case, as PERI – a producer and service provider in the formwork and scaffolding sector – has been demonstrating for many years. The use of new technologies and optimisation of existing process flows at the central production site in Weißenhorn are a constant motivation to PERI to incorporate responsible use of resources into product development. Closed cycles are not just the company’s goal at the central production site. At the numerous logistics sites worldwide, PERI also provides formwork solutions with minimum use of materials locally thanks to reusable system equipment. PERI’s own biomass power station, which went live in 2007, is the symbol of this recycling principle. The energy produced here contributes a substantial part of the used energy mix.
