LNG Terminal Rotterdam, The Netherlands Quick construction progress with PERI climbing formwork In the Rotterdam port, three circular tanks with a diameter of 86 m each had to be built simultaneously. With the VARIO GT 24 girder wall formwork system and the CB climbing scaffold, PERI offered a cost-effective solution for the outer walls that were 40 m high and 65 cm thick. Two formwork elements which were connected with an articulated coupling always formed a 6.50 m long climbing unit together with a CB 240 platform so that it was possible to work quickly and safely in concrete cycle heights of 3.67 m.
